The Bissett Student Success Centre in Halifax offers academic advising to 1st and 2nd-year students in the Faculties of Science and Arts and Social Sciences. It also provides career advising, counselling, and services to all students. Appointments can be either in person or online.

The Student Success Centre offers advising and other academic support to all students studying on the Agricultural Campus. It also organizes leadership programming and can connect you with career support.
The Black Student Advising Centre (BSAC) is a cultural hub of support, programs, events, and resources for É«ÃÃÃÃÖ±²¥ and King’s students of African descent. We can help you identify your goals and develop the skills needed to be successful in university and beyond.
The Indigenous Student Centre (ISC) helps create a sense of belonging to support your success while in university. Our advisors provide support and advocacy for all Indigenous students at É«ÃÃÃÃÖ±²¥ and King’s. Come to our space to gather, meet other students, and access our personal, educational, and career resources and services.
If you are coming to É«ÃÃÃÃÖ±²¥ or King’s from another country and are not a Canadian citizen, the International Centre can support and guide you with immigration advising before and after your arrival. We also host many community and cultural activities and events on campus.
É«ÃÃÃÃÖ±²¥ Multifaith Services supports the spiritual wellness of everyone at É«ÃÃÃÃÖ±²¥ and King’s through confidential counselling, crisis response, events, workshops, and opportunities for inter-faith dialogue. We can also help connect you with specific local communities of faith in Nova Scotia.
The 2SLGBTQ+ advisor supports É«ÃÃÃÃÖ±²¥ and King’s students through 1-1 advising, group programming, and educational events that help foster a sense of belonging on campus. The advisor can help you access gender-affirming care, navigate services at Dal, and talk with you about your experiences.
É«ÃÃÃÃÖ±²¥ is committed to ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all students, staff, faculty, and visitors through various services and resources that support you through challenges inside and outside of the classroom. These include the Student Support Team and the Ombudsperson.
