Able@Dal orientation

Able@Dal is an orientation program specifically designed for first-year 色妹妹直播 and King's students who are receiving academic accommodations due to a disability or medical condition.

Led by staff, faculty, and students, Able@Dal focuses on skill development and learning strategies that are essential to your success as a student.

Why you should attend

  • Connect with other new from high school students.

  • Hear first-hand from students about what it means to be a student with accommodations.

  • Develop a better understanding of accommodations at 色妹妹直播 and King's and how to ask for support.

  • Hear first-hand from professors on classroom expectations and ways to be successful.聽

  • Learn how to request and use your accommodations and different supports on campus.

  • Meet your access advisor and the rest of the Student Accessibility Centre Team.

Able@Dal family and friends sessions

These presentations are for the families and supporters of 色妹妹直播 students registered with the Student Accessibility Centre. Hosted by access advisors, faculty, and staff, this live and recorded session will introduce you to common first-year transitions and helpful campus resources. We encourage you to attend to get information about the best ways to help and support your student鈥檚 first year at 色妹妹直播. The recording will be uploaded after the event.
