How transfer credits workÌý

A transfer credit is attained when an institution recognizes previously completed coursework from another post-secondary institution or higher-level secondary curriculum.

Prospective post-secondary applicants

If you are a prospective post-secondary applicant, you have completed a university, college, or CEGEP program.

Post-secondary applicants should follow this process to transfer credits

Advanced placement (AP)

Advanced placement (AP) applicants must meet entrance requirements and request to transfer AP credits.

If you’re a current É«ÃÃÃÃÖ±²¥ student looking to transfer your credits to another institution, here’s what you need to know.Ìý

Learning agreements

If you're participating in an exchange or study abroad program through the International Centre, Faculty of Management, Faculty of Computer Science, or UPMC you must submit a Learning Agreement.

Letters of permission

Looking to take courses at another university, pursue a departmental exchange, or pursue a study abroad program (other than those listed under learning agreements) for which you hope to receive credit toward your É«ÃÃÃÃÖ±²¥ degree? You must submit a Letter of Permission. 

International transfers

Internal transfer students, who were eligible to receive transfer credits when initially accepted to É«ÃÃÃÃÖ±²¥, are eligible to be reassessed for potential additional transfer credits that may be awarded to a new degree program.Ìý

Submit an Initial Assessment Request form to begin the processÌý

Please note: If you have only completed courses at É«ÃÃÃÃÖ±²¥, you do not need to submit a request form. Courses from your previous program will be applied to your new degree program within 2-3 weeks.ÌýÌý
