Michael Huskilson, was eager to find opportunities to help build ambitious ideas in Nova Scotia.

Three educators from the Faculty of Management have been honored with the 2026 Black Family Foundation Teaching awards: Dr. Deryk Stec, Dr. Chris Bennett and Dr. Ali 脺lk眉.

It鈥檚 been a year since Bella Marble and Javiere Gordon joined the Faculty of Management as Program Pathway Navigators for Black and Indigenous students, and in that time, they鈥檝e covered a lot of ground.

Dr. Maria Pacurar has never shied away from change, and neither do the students in her Financial Technology (Fintech) courses.

This year鈥檚 recipient understands what it feels like to be silenced and diminished, which is why Fred King says he鈥檚 so passionate about teaching students how to speak up for themselves.

Information Science professor Alison Brown tells us about the community experiences that she brings to her teaching in the Master of Information program.
