Campus Emergencies

For immediate life safety emergencies, serious medical emergencies, fires, or crimes in progress, call 911 immediately.

As soon as possible, and when it is safe to do so, contact DalSAFE so we can:

  • Start on-campus response
  • Meet and guide emergency responders
  • Provide campus-specific information and building access
  • Support those involved
  • Coordinate follow-up and support response

Halifax Campus (Emergency)
902-494-4109

Truro Campus (Emergency)

AEDs and Naloxone

Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs) are located throughout É«ÃÃÃÃÖ±²¥ campuses and are available for use in medical emergencies. AED locations can be found on the DalSAFE app or through É«ÃÃÃÃÖ±²¥'s Environmental Health and Safety website. (sign-in required)

All campus AED cabinets also contain naloxone nasal spray kits. If an overdose is suspected, call 911 immediately, administer naloxone, and contact DalSAFE as soon as possible so we can support the response on campus.
