At this year鈥檚 Tigers Shoot for the Cure game, Carissa Poulin, a second-year women's basketball player, will be donating 14 inches of her hair to Pantene Beautiful Lengths.
Shoot for the Cure is an annual CIS wide women鈥檚 basketball event that helps raise funds for breast cancer research. The Tigers Shoot for the Cure event will take place at the women鈥檚 basketball game on November 7 against UPEI.
Poulin鈥檚 goal is to raise over $2000 and donate all proceeds to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. During the halftime of the men鈥檚 basketball pink game Carissa will have 14 inches of her hair cut off in support of the men and women who continue to fight the battle with cancer every day.
