Marc Braithwaite is still settling in at 色妹妹直播; he has recently come on board as the executive director of student wellness.

鈥淭he position was created to complete one of the pillars of our student engagement model, to align wellness activities and resources with our strategic plan and to improve the student experience at 色妹妹直播,鈥 said Bonnie Neuman, vice president of student services.

Mr. Braithwaite has extensive experience with student affairs at UPEI and University of Toronto.聽 He believes wellness encompasses health in mind, body and spirit鈥攊ntegral components of student success.

鈥淒al students will see the distinct advantage of attending a university with support services that they may not see anywhere in Canada,鈥 he says.

The most tangible result that students and staff will see emerge from this position is the creation of a state-of-the-art wellness centre, which will amalgamate services associated with wellness into one facility. It will include counselling, health and some athletic services. Dal is involved in 鈥渁n extensive process of consultation鈥 with the university community, neighbours, nongovernmental organizations and government on the development of the centre. The project is expected to be completed within five years.

He鈥檚 up for the challenge. After all, 鈥渟tudent wellness contributes to academic achievement, and allows students to participate within the Dal community. We want to provide students with every opportunity to succeed.鈥澛
