Earlier this month in Yelllowknife, Dr. Paul Amyotte, FEC, P.Eng. (Engineers Nova Scotia) was elected as President-Elect of Engineers Canada. Equivalent to a Vice-President position, but also means that Paul will become President of Engineers Canada for the 2014-2015 term. He will be appointed as President May of next year.
As President for the 2014-2015 term, Paul will lead the Engineer Canada Board in support of the provincial and territorial engineering regulatory bodies, representing the over 250,000 members of the profession, to build a stronger engineering profession and to increase Canadian's awareness of the contribution of engineers to society. Â
